Assistant Financial Controller/Finance Manager

If so, Elevation Senior Finance are currently working with a highly successful multi-site service organisation as they look to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller/ Finance Manager.

This is a newly created role providing key support to the Financial Controller based from the head office in Chesterfield.

Managing a small finance team, the successful candidate will have gained hands on experience in a similar role ideally spanning multiple locations/ entities and be experience in intercompany accounting activities.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

*Providing key support to the Financial Controller in day to day financial reporting activities across multiple locations
*Assisting the FC with Month end and year end close & liaison with Auditors
*Intercompany accounting activities
*Assisting the FC with Management accounting, budgeting and forecasting
*Assist with Reporting and Corporate tax activities
*Wide ranging analysis activities
*VAT reporting

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:

*ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified
*Hands on experience in a fast paced Financial/Management Accounting role
*Strong technical financial reporting / management accounting
*An outstanding communicator - both verbal and written
*Full of initiative with the ability to self-manage
*A natural problem solver
