Steel Erector (on Site)
Our client is an established engineering company based in Battle who provide a wide range of welding, fabrication and control systems to commercial and domestic clients. Our client is currently looking for a Steel Erector to join their busy and friendly team.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Qualifications such as Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme, Work at Heights and Harness Training are essential
• A full clean UK driving licence and own transport is needed due to the company’s location
• Previous on-site supervising experience
• Welding experience would be an advantage
• A Counterbalance Forklift License is preferred
• Due to the role a high level of fitness is needed
Duties will include:
• Installing prefabricated work within the local area and further afield
• Lining up and ensuring steel work is level before bolting it in place
• Following technical drawings/engineer drawings
• Working on the structures at heights
• Working within a small team
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety is met at all times
Salary:
Up to £35,000
Hours:
40 Hours per week
Monday – Friday, with occasional overtime
