Compliance Manager

Pivotal role with expanding commercial insurance brokerage, implementing and monitoring effective compliance strategies across the group to meet all regulatory requirements.

You will be joining an innovative and expanding office, and will play a lead role in ensuring that all staff embrace full commitment to maintaining a culture of robust compliance standards at all times.

Providing guidance and advice on all compliance issues to support staff, managers and directors.
Maintaining effective systems and controls
Maintaining compliance handbooks and terms of business
Reviewing new and impending directives to advise in impact on the business, with a particular focus on sales and service processes.
FCA reporting
Investigating complaints, potential breaches of standards and reporting on non-compliance.
Identifying and implementing improvements to support best practice.

Skills & experience required:

High level current/recent experience as a Compliance Manager/Officer, within a General insurance environment - at least 5 + years experience, ideally supported by attainment of Advanced Certificate in Compliance.
In depth/expert knowledge of FCA requirements, including TCF, DPA, AML
Good understanding of ICOBS
A good understanding of the B2C sales processes within the insurance sector, including e-commerce
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
