Product Designer
About the role:
As the Product Designer you will work with the business to instil and help define our vision, understanding not just the 'What' but also the 'Why'. Use quantitative and qualitative data to analyse behaviour and use this to help your decision making. Drawing on your visual, UI and interaction design skills, you'll be able to move from discovery to design with ease. Effectively communicate, purpose, interaction, design metrics and motion to development teams while also understanding the big picture of how the C ecosystem works together. You'll possess a deep understanding of the brand and make sure we communicate this through our entire digital experience.

As Product Designer you will be responsible for:
Communication
• Understand the 'why' as well as the 'what' i.e. Understand business objectives and set the vision for the user experience of products
• Work effectively with product owners, product managers and engineering, to design beautiful but practical solutions.
• Clearly convey ideas and concepts to stakeholders and developers
• Champion our UI patterns and style guides as well as your product
• Be actively involved in planning and estimating tasks
• Feedback and share ideas for process, design and quality improvements
• Liaise with and mentor other design team members to ensure common understanding of tasks and duties
• Liaise with other team members, departments and stakeholders to ensure schedules and tasks are well communicated
• Gather user feedback through testing, insight and open forum, letting them lead the way.
Quality
• Ensure a thorough understanding of product initiatives, company vision and department practice in order to deliver high quality solutions
• Explore User Interface best practice making sure delivery is of the highest standard
• Be familiar with company- wide product team initiatives
• Mentor other team members to ensure consistent representations and patterns
• Offer ideas and improvements to interaction, usability and design tasks.
Core
• A thorough knowledge and understanding of interaction, time, and user behaviour
• Ability to partake in Scrum team processes and knowledge of Agile development
• Understanding of Front End Development
• Visual Design
• Responsive and cross browser design and development
• Usability and accessibility
• Ensure high quality delivery and standards
