Mortgage Business Consultant

Our Client, an IT processes and system solutions to retail banking and asset finance customers are currently recruiting for an experienced Mortgage Business Consultant either on a long term contract or permanent basis.
This is a newly created consultancy role due to recent business expansion and will require Mortgage Business Consultations on customer sites predominantly in Edinburgh and Birmingham. You will be based out of their Sheffield office and be required to spend a couple of days a week from here, while the rest of the time will be on client sites in Edinburgh and Birmingham.
As a Mortgage Business Consultant it is essential to have:
• Detailed knowledge and experience of the intermediary mortgage business
• CEMAP qualification
• Active experience of writing mortgage business for UK lenders
• An understanding of the needs of individual brokers, corporate brokers, and the mortgage clubs
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to convince / pursuade others on business decisions
