Chichester College have an opportunity for a HR Administrative Assistant to join the team at our Chichester Campus on a part time basis working 22 hours per week. This is a fixed term maternity cover post for a maximum of 1 year or the return, resignation or replacement of the current postholder, whichever is sooner. The successful HR Administrative Assistant will receive a salary pro rata of £16,793 - £17,822 per annum (i.e. £9,985.03 - £10,596.86).

As our HR Administrative Assistant your role will support the recruitment process by processing applications, preparing letters, making arrangements for interviews and obtaining required data. In addition, you will provide a reception service for the HR team and input data to the HR information system.
Responsibilities of our HR Administrative Assistant:
- Provide an efficient and customer-focused reception service for the HR team, dealing with enquiries from staff and members of the public.
- Support the recruitment process by processing applications, drafting correspondence, preparing paperwork, making arrangements for interviews and obtaining required data.
- Process confidential documentation and correspondence, including post and e-mail, and log information on the Human Resources Information System.
- Create and maintain personal and job vacancy files, ensuring the information is kept up-to-date.
- Support the HR team to implement designated HR projects.
Skills & Experience required of our HR Administrative Assistant:
- Experience of office administration is essential, as are organisational and interpersonal skills.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English & Maths at grade C or above
- ECDL or equivalent (Desirable)
- Previous experience working within a customer focussed environment and a Human Resources function
- Knowledge of HR databases and Microsoft applications, particularly Word and Excel
