As part of continued growth, this leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of performance exhaust systems is looking to expand its team with the addition of a Sales Manager at its headquarters based in Pride Park Derby.
The new role will be responsible for the management and development of it B2B dealer network that is currently supported by a team of consisting of technical sales advisers, new business development consultant and marketing executives.
The role require someone with a proven track record within a B2B sales environment (ideally automotive or engineering based), strong leadership and motivational skills and the ability to demonstrate how they have been able to identify and develop new customer relationships and business opportunities.
In-addition to management and development of the B2B network, the role will also be responsible for identifying, developing and delivering customer special projects and other new business opportunities both around the performance exhaust market and other engineering and manufacturing projects that the company can support.
Working to exceed both company and personal targets and defined KPI's is must for the successful candidate, in return, they will receive a competitive salary, performance related bonus/commission and company vehicle.
Key Job requirements:
- Engineering or business engineering qualification is desirable
- Sales / Business Development experience is essential
- Knowledgeable in automotive engineering
- Customer oriented / strong communication skills
- Excellent presentational skills
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Good negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Willingness to travel within the UK and world wide
