We are currently working with one of the pre-eminent names in the pensions market, an award winning firm specialising in the SSAS/SIPP arena. As they continue to grow they are often seeking to add a high quality individual to their existing team in order to carry on both the development of new business as well as effectively managing existing financial planning clients.

This is a regulated position with the successful applicant provided with an existing client base that generates in the region of GBP100,000 recurring fee income each year. Clients are based across the North of England and often have additional financial planning needs, such as IHT planning, and additional funds/pension pots held elsewhere. The focus of the position is to bring as much revenue into the firm from these clients as possible.

As clients are developed through accountancy and solicitor connections it is also an expectation that the new adviser will develop increasingly close links with such firms to develop new leads. Whilst the existing client base should provide enough resource to hit target, it is imperative that any candidate has the capacity to build relationships with the introducers with the aim of writing in the region of GBP180,000 fee income each year.

To be considered it is vital that applicants are polished, driven and have first class relationship management skills. It is also imperative that candidates should have a strong understanding of the pension market, although in-depth knowledge of SSAS/SIPP is advantageous rather than a pre-requisite. Diploma is a must and progress towards Chartered status would be viewed favourably.
