Summary of job role:
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to accomplish project objectives by planning project activities; evaluating implementation and progress of project. The successful candidate will work with all appropriate stakeholders across all workstreams and line management boundaries to ensure the successful delivery of their projects in a professional and collaborative manner. Experience of Digital Projects (digital transformation) would be very helpful.

Essential:
• Create and deliver project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Identify resources and assign responsibilities.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s).
• Competent in required project methodology.
• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
• Works closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).
• Understands basic revenue models and Profit/Loss; meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances and initiating corrective actions.
• Works with developers and designers to define and document questions, liaise with business via face to face collaboration, phone, IM or email to get new requirements and explain feasibility.
• Submits project status reports to stakeholders; reviews bugs; plans software releases.
• Anticipates and reacts to change.

Working:
• Across workstreams but immediately on Digital Strategy & Business Capabilities workstream who at a high level are responsible for:
• Ensure platform requirements are aligned with 5 year Business Plan
• Understand definite and potential future products and services that will be delivered via the People's Platform
• Map the digital customer journeys through these agreed products and services
• Establish the business requirements for the platform and the priority deliverables

Current projects:

Digital Strategy & Business Capabilities workstream who at a high level is responsible for:
• Ensure platform requirements are aligned with 5 year Business Plan
• Understand definite and potential future products and services that will be delivered via the People's Platform
• Map the digital customer journeys through these agreed products and services
• Establish the business requirements for the platform and the priority deliverables

Business Case and Risk Management workstream who at a high level is responsible for:
• Ensure that the Business Case is delivered in line with the 5 year Business Plan & Digital Strategy
• Ensure mechanisms are in place to monitor and track programme success criteria and its successful delivery
• Map Benefit Management & Realisation approach

Solutions Architecture Workstream who at a high level is responsibility for:-
• Identify the IT Services & Capabilities required to meet future business requirements
• Document the IT Solution and Systems Architecture
• Identify Technology Operation Model
• Deliver Technical Infrastructure
• Build and Test the New People's Platform
