Our client is a well-established corporate accountancy practice, which has a major focus on larger customers and fee income targeting higher value-add products and on international organisations operating in the UK. Due to significant growth and business success over recent years, they are looking for a highly experience and talented Tax Director/Partner

The business has several very lucrative new areas too - more demanding SME's, larger geographic catchments, increased client size, provision of on and off-site management accounting and higher value-add offerings together with increased outsourcing services to UK, European and International clients.

This new opportunity is a very exciting opening where the successful applicant will be a key influencer in the future growth plans for the business. The new role is to support new offices focussing on South and Mid Bucks, Bedfordshire and the M1 corridor, and an established satellite office in London to increase catchment areas and widen the market coverage.

The firm has invested heavily in focused marketing and strategic planning, which has already played a strong part in organic growth. Recognitions has come in the form of excellence awards presented by the Chamber of Commerce in several districts so you will be joining a firm that is building a very commendable and admired reputation.

The successful Tax Director/Partner Designate will be tasked with offering additional services that is currently untapped within the existing client market. The firm's strategy is to grow specialist sectors across all areas of the business, and tax will be an important part of this. Therefore you will be identifying and marketing appropriate tax planning opportunities for both existing and new clients. To support this, as well as having excellent knowledge in Company Tax, Personal Tax, and possibly VAT (although this is not a pre-requisite), you will also possess skills and experience in a specialist sectors, e.g. Property Tax, Employment Tax, Stock Options, Share Valuations etc. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong business development skills with a track record of success.

Key Requirements:

• CTA qualified
• Experienced in a specialist sector
• Experienced in providing bona fide tax planning solutions
• Have a demonstrable record of strong business development and/or bring a fee following with you.
• Able to lead by your own example, enjoy client interaction, growth and recognise that business and personal development are interlinked
• Wish to achieve a more senior role, leading to a partnership position quickly
• Have other business skills and awareness gained in a client and service-orientated practice.
• Enjoy supervising and developing more junior staff
• Feel comfortable in public speaking as well as selling yourself and the business to new clients and building new services into an existing base
• Be team orientated, need to get involved and recognise that your personal drive and example will influence your own and the team's performance
• Enjoy working to deadlines and are focused enough to want to exceed the most unreasonable customer demands
• Career minded, dedicated and willing to prove your worth.
