How Would You Like To Be An Accounts Semi Senior Working With Owner Managed Business Clients On Their Accounts Preparation In This Dynamic, Family-Friendly And Growing Firm Of Chartered Accountants In East Lancashire?

The reason why this is a great opportunity for you is because you can further your career and get broad accounts preparation experience at semi senior level by joining the vibrant and growing corporate team in the Blackburn office of my client's dynamic firm of Chartered Accountants. So you will be currently studying towards the AAT, ACA or ACCA qualification and have recently spent at least two years working in an accountancy practice. And support will be given, where appropriate, to continue professional development towards your AAT/ACCA/ACA qualification.

The role requires an accounts semi senior to provide accounts preparation and tax computations for a portfolio of clients within the team who together work with a wide range of exciting and interesting clients, principally owner managed businesses.

So you will already have excellent verbal and written communication skills as there will be contact with clients on the telephone and face-to-face. And you will also need good organisational skills as well as the ability to take initiative and contribute to the effective running of the department.

If successful your duties and responsibilities would include:

To undertake accounts preparation and income and corporation tax computations for sole traders, partnerships and audit exempt limited companies within a portfolio of clients.

?? To perform book-keeping duties.

?? To prepare VAT Returns.

?? To prepare management accounts, cash flow forecasts and projections.

?? To actively support and co-operate with other members of the team.

The salary for the successful candidate is flexible as it will be negotiated based on your qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include generous holidays, on site free parking, flexible benefits (salary sacrifice) scheme, employer pension contribution 5%, 2x death in service benefit, PHI following 2 years' service, annualised hours based on 36.25 hours per week.
