The reason why this is a great opportunity for you is because you can further your career and get broad experience at senior level by joining the vibrant and growing corporate team in the Blackburn office of my client's dynamic firm of Chartered Accountants. So you will be part qualified, newly qualified or fully qualified (ACA or ACCA), looking to progress your career and have experience of working on a wide range of accounting and auditing assignments.

The role requires an accounts senior or experienced semi senior to provide corporate accounts, tax and audit services to their portfolio of clients within the team who together work with a wide range of exciting and interesting clients - principally owner managed businesses and corporate subsidiaries, law firms and charities.

So you will already have excellent verbal and written communication skills as there will be contact with clients at all levels. And you will also need good organisational skills as well as the ability to take initiative and contribute to the effective running of the department.

If successful you would report to the Corporate Services Managers/Partners and your duties and responsibilities would include:

?? Leading audit assignments of clients of varying sizes and across many sectors.

?? Reviewing corporate tax computations.

?? Controlling the production of accounts for your clients.

?? Working on special projects with the corporate finance and tax teams.

?? Actively support other members of the Corporate Services team.

?? Building strong mentor/client relationships.

?? Supervising and training junior team members.

The salary for the successful candidate is flexible as it will be negotiated based on your qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include generous holidays, on site free parking, flexible benefits (salary sacrifice) scheme, employer pension contribution 5%, 2x death in service benefit, PHI following 2 years' service, annualised hours based on 36.25 hours per week.
