Accounts Team Manager

Our client based in Peterborough is seeking a fully qualified ACCA Accountant to become Accounts Team Manager to oversee a team of up to 10 accounts and audit staff. You will have substantial accountancy practice experience and will have strong client and team management experience too. You will be reponsible for team annual planning and reporting, agreeing financial targets, training, risk assessing, weekly meetings with the team, liaison with internal departments, employee relations including holidays / absence / study leave, managing and authorising flexitime & relevant cover, performance management, you will undertake audit and preparation of annual accounts / statutory accounts for your own client base, preparing tax computations and meeting with clients to resolve queries. It is essential that as well as being suitably qualified, that you also have previous man management experience to be considered for this role. Salary dependent upon experience.
