Our client, a market leading guarantor Loan Company has an exciting new opportunity to join them as a Sales and Customer Support Advisor

Job Purpose

You will provide the first point of contact to customers on both inbound and outbound calls.

You will be responsible for guiding the customer through the loan application process & handling any queries they may have, ensuring the best outcome at all times.

You must be an excellent communicator, who is comfortable with telephony communication and written correspondence.

You will interact with customers via web chat, text and email communications.

You will be a pro-active team player.

You will deliver exceptional customer service and operate within a regulated environment.

Primary Responsibilities

You will create and manage customer records on the database accurately & efficiently, and update accordingly throughout customer interactions and the customer journey

You will undertake fact finding with the customer to ascertain their suitability for a loan

You will ask open questions in order to understand customer needs and personal circumstances, highlighting key features and benefits of the loan products to assist customers make the appropriate decision for them

You will proactively handle any objections, often relating to misunderstanding of the product / process by the customer

You will complete electronic identification and credit checks. This could include requesting supporting evidence to be sent in from the customer

You will ensure that all activities are conducted in line with regulations and the concept of Treating Customers Fairly requirements

You will achieve targets and quality objectives

You will organise and prioritise your workload to manage cases effectively

You will achieve completion and conversion targets as set by management during the appropriate performance periods

You will undertake regular training and coaching sessions to hone skills and knowledge

You will be enthusiastic, tenacious, customer focused, influential and self-motivated
