Objective of role:

You will provide the services of a Paraplanner to the Financial Planning Department. This will include but is not limited to the main responsibilities given below.

You will have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbal and written
You will have the ability to produce high quality output and meet demanding standards;
You will be able to use your initiative within the limits of knowledge and authority
You will have the ability to work as part of a team and be ready to provide support and assistance
You will have knowledge of the administrative systems used in financial planning
Key Accountabilities

You will prepare client files by analysing fact find and selecting appropriate solutions
You will produce clear, technically accurate, compliant and concise reports for clients for advisers to sign off
You will provide timely preparation of update reports for clients
You will regularly meet with Broker Consultants to discuss new and existing products
You will research best offerings from whole of market, discuss case preparation and progress of research with advisor
You will prepare illustrations using all tools available
You will complete calculations as required i.e. IHT, head room checks
You will assist in the continual cycle of improving the advice and review process
You will keep up to date with technical and professional development
General

You will contribute to the department's/ firm's objectives
You will attend all staff training courses and internal office meetings, as and when required
You will understand and comply with all internal office procedures
You will continually deliver the standards required by the Financial Services Authority and that of any other quality standards the firm may hold in order to ensure that the firm retains both its authorised status and any other quality accreditation held by the Firm.
You will maintain strict confidentiality at all times, whether relating to clients' or the firm's documentation and information
