Our client
An international bank head-quartered in the City of London are currently recruiting for several positions including that of Senior Credit Administrator. The main function of the role is to assist in carrying out the credit administration functions related to the lending and credit facilities granted to the Bank's customers

To work effectively and independently with reasonable supervision from the Branch manager/Operations Manager:

Fully accountable for:-
• Assisting the Branch Manager to ensure the completeness of credit files, legal documentation and credit administrative systems are complete and up to date
• Possible supervision of junior members of the team
• Management of internal and external relationships to achieve the delivery of high quality credit administrative function in order to contribute towards the achievement of the Branch's business growth and profitability targets

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation of facility and security documents in order to ensure the Branch's position is adequately protected and that documentation will be enforceable in a court of law if the need arises
• Follow up on outstanding and/or incomplete documentation with clients and with Credit Department and ensure completeness of such documentation
• Maintain the limit and collateral systems (Eximbills/Equation) to ensure entries are updated upon completion of facility and security documentation
• Monitor customer overlimit/excesses under daily special condition report and report to management
• Execute data entry of Credit Administration transactions including, rate fixing of loans, processing of draw-downs, taking of fees, loan repayment monitoring
• Carry out credit reference checking using in-house and third party credit reference agencies
• Follow up on the timely renewal of insurances for properties and life/credit insurance policies mortgaged to the Bank as well as ensuring property/asset valuations are up to date
• Assist in the preparation of month-end reports and other reports as directed by the Credit Administration/ Branch Manager
• Manager/Liaise with legal and other professionals in the preparation of facility/security documentation/valuation
• Provide secretarial support to the London Branch Loan Committee
• Draft general loan agreement using Bank templates
• Good understanding of documentation regarding mergers and acquisition transactions
• Familiar with documentation for property and commercial lending
• Maintain and ensure completeness of customer files and filing system
• Attend to any other matters which may be assigned by the Branch Manager from time to time
• Dealing with loan draw-downs and loan documentation (bilateral and syndicated)
