Motor Claims Handler - Back office, technical
Salary:
GBP25,000 plus benefits
Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Injury Motor Claims Handler to join a growing reputable company in Newcastle.
Main Duties:
The role will involve:
- Handling your own allocation of personal injury claims cases to settlement.
- Dealing with fast track personal injury claims both within the MOJ portal and RTA protocol.
- Credit hire, gta and non-gta, AD and TD claims. Litigated cases will also feature as will tackling fraudulent cases.
- Working towards service level agreements, offering an excellent level of customer satisfaction to both your clients and colleagues alike.
- Awareness and adherence to FCA and TCF guidelines and principles as well as in house procedures.
- Continuously looking to minimise losses to the business.
- Planning and organizing own workload.
- Keeping up to date with market developments and changes.
- Engaging in negotiations with clients and third parties.
- Offering an excellent level of customer service to customers keeping them informed of progress of their claims.
In return for experience in a similar role, with the ability to hit the ground running with all aspects, a competitive salary of GBP23,000 will be on offer, along with this, will be a long term stable career and fantastic benefits.
Key Skills:
Previous experience in a Motor Claims role taking cases to settlement is essential as is extensive personal injury exposure. Unfortunately candidates from a 'FNOL' or First Notification call centre background cannot be considered. An extremely professional and polite approach is essential as are excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise one's own work load. Experience using the MOJ portal and knowledge of FCA and TCF is also essential to be considered.
