We now have a real career opportunity for a talented Management Accountant to work cohesively with our group companies , developing core processes and ensuring management information is clearly explained and understood across SCC and or specific customer reporting as the business partner representative from Finance .

Duties will include :

* Finance Business Partner for a major customer contract .
* Responsible for all aspects of financial and contract reporting .
* Representing SCC at customer governance meetings, presenting contract financial performance .
* Develop and manage detailed cost models and forecasting assumptions for major customers ensuring auditability at account and service offering level .
* Understand and procurement keep relevant stakeholders abreast of asset procurement programmes within the contract base managed , to support capital , working capital and cash planning .
* Managing independent audit of contract on an annual basis with the customer .
* Implement business/financial process changes to enhance the accuracy , efficiency and timelines of UK reporting .
* Financial review meetings with all stakeholders both internal and external .
* Explanation to stakeholders of financial implications on contracts by understanding commercial arrangements on large deals .
* Ensure cost models are able to be measured against P and L performance through utilisation of transactional level detail through SCC systems .
* Support the operational team with billing and forecasting advice .

Skills, knowledge and experience

* Qualified Accountant or in final stages of studies .
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills ; ability to analyse large data sets .
* Strong interpersonal skills
*Experience in managing large customer contracts from a financial perspective .
