We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to undertake long term work based at one of the Colleges at Cambridge University.

The work is varied and will involve working with the team responding to jobs raised and carrying out routine tasks and to carry out Plumbing Maintenance, Repairs and Installation Upgrades to a high standard throughout all college property,

Carry out all Plumbing maintenance and repairs as required throughout college property.

To carry out planned preventative/reactive maintenance on all associated equipment.

To maintain the Plumbing store room and Plant rooms in a clean and tidy condition at all times.

To maintain up to date electronic records of all work carried out.

To carry out any reasonable reactive maintenance requests; including M&E and general maintenance.

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current Health and Safety regulations.

Must be able to work on own initiative.

Must ensure tasks are completed as instructed by the Head of Buildings & Services.

Be able and willing to carry out tasks outside the framework of own trade, providing the task is within their own capabilities.

To undertake further training when required.

To assist the Head of Buildings & Services with Plumbing technical knowledge when required.

To plan own work, procure correct materials and execute the work in an efficient and safe manner.

Any other reasonable duties required by the Head of Buildings & Services.

You must have Domestic Plumbing Heating and Ventilation City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 / Practical Experience,

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7.30 - 4.30 Pm.

This role will be offered as a permanent role for the right candidate.
