Opportunity to join a leading IT Solutions Partner based in Reading as a Microsoft Licensing Specialist.

Working within a focused Microsoft Licensing Team, this individual liaises with and works closely with External Licencing Consultants, as well as other internal colleagues, to ensure that customers receive a high level of service.

Primarily acts as an internal contact for the sales team providing both a proactive and reactive sales function. This will include providing pre and post sales information, introducing customers to new products and services, closing orders, and working on query resolution.

Responsibilities:
•To work in an organised manner ensuring that ISO Quality Management Procedures are always followed. They will be expected to deal with requests and queries through to conclusion.
•IMLSs will need to keep on top of all Administration tasks assigned to them once fully trained in Microsoft procedures and pricing. This includes monthly pricelists, keeping the datasheets updated, the running of monthly Select Plus & Scheduled Billings which include EA, Select, Campus, Schools OV & OVs Expiring Agreements and EA & EA Sub True Up and order reports.
•T-36 needs to be managed by the relevant IMLS for their Externals customers.
•To play an active role in the team, remaining flexible, to cover and to support others in busy periods.
•Strong communication skills are required, as they will be speaking to colleagues within their team, colleagues, their customers and their various contacts in Microsoft and Adobe.
•IMLSs will need to understand which products and service opportunities offer the greatest margin opportunities. They are required to work closely with their Externals to ensure that gross margin is always maximised.
•They need to work with their External partners to create a forecast for the start of every month and to cover for their Externals on the Microsoft bi-monthly calls if needed. To ensure that they cover for their Externals at the Month End forecast session if needed.
•To be punctual at all times and be conscious on always hitting their customers' and Account Managers deadlines.
•It is essential that they attend and organise regular training sessions. The sessions will cover products, services, personal development and sales skills.
•To be a primary point of contact and escalation for Major Microsoft clients and Partners. To provide licensing expertise to help secure deals and ensure Microsoft compliancy.
•To work with internal and external teams to develop customer proposals, pre credit checks, pricing frameworks and contracts. Manage deals through to the sales lifecycle to ensure revenue is finalised.
•To remain proactive and to develop new relationships within existing customers and to find new business customers also.
•With regards to PSX and deal registration they need to ensure that all checklist info is provided in the absence of the Licensing Externals.
•To attain and maintain all relevant LSP/licensing certifications with Microsoft - once attained, must be maintained and updated as and when necessary and associated for the benefit and use of the company. Accreditations include but are not limited to MCP (Volume Licensing), MCP (SAM, MLSS, MLSE, T-36 certification)

Qualifications:
•Needs to be literate, numerate and most importantly articulate.
•Ideally with experience of Microsoft Software Sales.
•Must be enthusiastic.
•Must be self motivated, tenacious as well as a team player.
•Must have the ability to communicate with and work effectively with suppliers, internal departments as well as customers.
•Must be able to work under pressure.
•Must have a flexible working attitude.
•Must be able to contribute to individual, team and company targets and objectives.
•Must be commercially minded with good common sense.
•Must be conscientious with an attention to detail.
