The Company:
* The Company is an extremely well known and well established Lighting manufacturer with a turnover of well over GBP100Million
* They are a global force within the industry with offices throughout the world and a worldwide reputation for providing high quality products
* Due to their significant size and growth, there are always opportunities for the right individual to progress into a more senior role within the business
* Over the coming months they have plans for massive investment in the IOT side of the business and they are already a long way ahead of the competition on this side of the market
* The Company is always looking for new opportunities in the market and they are a massive pioneer of new Lighting technologies
The Role:
* This is a home based role, where you will be Selling the companies wide range of Retail Lighting across the Inner M25
* As an Area Sales Manager for Retail Projects, you will be selling to a number of large retailers, including high street stores and supermarkets, along with well known banks and building societies
* Reporting to the Managing Director for Retail Projects, you will inherit a small amount of existing business that you will be expected to maintain and develop
* You will also be expected to generate a larger amount of new business to help continue the growth that the company has already experienced
* You will be liaising with a number of different key contacts across a multitude of businesses, specifically Designers, Contractors and Consultants
The Ideal Person:
* It is essential that you come from sales background that has sold to the Retail End User sector, this could be direct or via Contractors, Consultants, Architects, Designers or Lighting Designers
* You must have existing contacts and relationships in place with a number of different retail brands across the patch to ensure you can hit the ground running in the role
* The company value a Technical Background very highly, and they would love to see any existing Sales people who have previous experience within Lighting Design but it is not essential
* You must be keen and ready to learn, as the company is always bringing out new and exciting products that you must be constantly up to date with
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential in the role, as you must be able to communicate effectively and professionally to people of all levels
