Shopping Centre Security Officer

Olympian Security Services are currently seeking SIA Licensed Security Personnel to join our team in the Washington area. The successful candidate will receive a salary of £8.50-£8.75 per hour.

We are currently seeking Security Officers in Washington, Tyne & Wear to work at a prestigious shopping centre.

Duties of the Shopping Centre Security Officer include:

- Provide a polite, customer friendly, professional security presence

- Provide a visible security contact for customers and staff

- Ensuring the safety and security of the premises, customers and staff

- Provide excellent customer service

- Loss prevention

- Carrying out regular foot patrols

- Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft and criminal activity

- Writing statements and reports

- Liaising with the Police and store management

Essential Experience of the Shopping Centre Security Officer:

- Security Officers must hold a valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervision licence.

  Unfortunately, we are unable to consider applications from non-licence holders.

Desirable Qualities:

- Smartly presented and well groomed

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- The ability to work as a team but confident enough to work alone

- Proactive and able to use initiative

Shopping Centre Security Officer Working Hours:

- Full Time to include weekends

In return for your hard work and commitment as our Shopping Centre Security Officer,  you will receive:

- £8.50 to £8.75 per hour (dependent upon experience)
