Our client is holding a jobs fair for their Older Peoples' Home and the Learning Development Home. For which they have a number of Day & Night Care Assistant opportunities and Day & Night Support Worker opportunities available. You will be responsible for providing a high quality of emotional, physical and social support to people who live in the Home, respecting and upholding the rights and wishes of each individual, according to individual support plans.
The job fair is to be held on Wednesday 16th November, between 12pm ??? 7pm at 21 Hotel Street, LE1 5AW.
Key Requirements:
- The successful candidate is subject to a Disclosure from the DBS.
- We are looking for someone who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for people
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work closely with families
- To respect people???s privacy, dignity, choice and confidentiality at all times.
Working hours will include either:
Older Peoples home:
- working flexibly between 7am ??? 10pm which includes a requirement to work at weekends and Bank Holidays, on rota
- working flexibly between 10am ??? 7am with the requirements to work weekends and bank holidays on rota
Learning Development Home:
- working flexibly over 24 hour period, 7 days a week plus weekend & bank holidays on a rota (day post)
- work flexibly between 10pm ??? 9am with the requirements to work weekends and bank holidays on rota (night post)
