Location: To be based within 1 hour from Northampton with UK wide travel.

Salary: £20,000-£24,000 plus bonus scheme paid every 6 months

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hydraulics Engineer to join us at igus who are a leading energy chain systems manufacturer and installation company covering the UK. We manufacture and install energy chain systems to supply power and data for moving machinery and have a large customer base, across many different industries.

Due to company growth we are now in a position to recruit a Hydraulics specialist who can offer advice and support regarding hydraulic hoses within energy chain systems.

Full training on our products will be given.

The Hydraulics Sales Engineer’s role will involve:

• Supporting existing customers

• Generating new business

• Project work

The Hydraulics Sales Engineer will be responsible for covering the UK. It is expected that around 3 days a week will be field based across the UK and 2 days a week will be based in our Northampton Factory.

The successful candidate will:

• Be working in or have previously worked in the hydraulics industry

• Need some hands on experience of fitting hydraulic hoses and connectors

• Have an outgoing and confident manner

• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Salary is £20,000 - £24,000

Commission based bonus scheme which pays out every 6 months.
