PCV & Trainee Bus Drivers

McGill’s has a number of p/t and f/t positions available for experienced and trainee drivers, across all five locations.

There’s a competitive salary with average earnings of £24,500, with ample overtime available, and a great benefits package too. An immediate start is also on offer for candidates who currently have their PCV licence.

Key responsibilities:

There’s more to being a bus driving than driving a bus!  As a McGill’s bus driver, you are the face of our company and your bus is our shop window.  We’re keen to hear from candidates who appreciate the importance of excellent customer service.  We’ll provide training on all of our systems, from route learning, to how our ticket machines work and on our high expectations in terms of customer service.

Qualifications/Skills required:

·  For an immediate start, you’ll need a current PCV driving licence.  A valid CPC card is advantageous but not required

·  Excellent driving skills

·  Great numerical skills

·  Courteous, helpful attitude towards customers

·  Flexible approach to work
