The company client is a highly regarded Financial Services brand who are actively seeking to appoint a dynamic and self motivated Head of Finance to join their increasingly expanding team based in Manchester. The successful applicant will play an instrumental role within the senior management team while driving the forward direction of this diverse group. Key responsibilities will include as follows:
* Reporting into the Group CFO, this role has full responsibility for overseeing finance operations, payroll and finance projects
* Responsible for the leadership and development of a team of a medium sized team.
* Responsible for the delivery and co-ordination of all statutory and financial reporting
* Relationship management with key external and internal stakeholders
* Responsible for the successful management and execution of key operational finance projects
Background and competencies required:
* Full accountancy qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
* Experience within a financial management position ideally within FS
* Strong financial management and control expertise
* Staff management experience
* Good understanding of financial controls within a regulated environment
