LOCATION: Burgess Hill , West Sussex
JOB TITLE: Part Time Housekeeper / Cleaner
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP7.66 - GBP15.22, free uniform and free staff meals.
WORKING HOURS: Part Time -
THE COMPANY: Our client based in Burgess Hill , West Sussex provide care with nursing for elderly frail residents and those with mental health problems. Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty with views on the South Downs and across the 250 acres of gardens and farmlands. Made up of 3 separate homes and a retirement village. They are now looking to recruit a Part Time Housekeeper / Cleaner for one of their homes.
THE ROLE: As a Part Time Housekeeper/ Cleaner you will be responsible for cleaning resident's rooms, which are all en-suite, communal areas and lounges. You will need to have a professional and friendly approach and work to a high standard in all aspects of your work.
You may also benefit from free transport from the Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath areas
This is a very unique role and would suit a versatile individual who would take pride in becoming part of this exciting venture
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 9.00am - 2.00pm
Sunday 8.00am - 3.00pm
RATE OF PAY: WEEKDAYS GBP7.66
WEEKENDS GBP11.49
BANK HOLIDAY GBP15.32
Key Responsibilities:
•Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the communal areas as well as within the visitor suites
•Cleaning resident's rooms, which are all en-suite
•Use protective clothing as laid down in the homes policies and procedures.
•Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures to include the COSHH regulations.
•Ensure that correct usage of all colour coded cleaning equipment is followed.
THE CANDIDATE:The successful applicant for the role of Part Time Housekeeper / Cleaner will be reliable and have the ability to work unsupervised. You will need to have a professional and friendly approach and work to a high standard in all aspects of your work.
Key experience essential for the Part Time Housekeeper / Cleaner role:
• Previous experience in a housekeeping / Cleaning role is essential
• Previous experience in a nursing home would be beneficial but not essential
• Available to work weekends if required
• Happy to undertake an enhanced CRB check
