Sales Executive - Trainee Position

This company is a leading manufacturer, employing 1100 people across 27 locations in the UK. The Swadlincote site, based near Burton-On-Trent is now looking to strengthen it's team with an office based Sales Executive.

Position: Sales Executive - Trainee Position
Location: Burton-On-Trent, Staffordshire
Salary: £16 - £18k depending on experience (plus monthly bonus depending on performance) and pension after qualifying period.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Executive to join their successful internal sales team.

You will be given the training necessary to carry out your role, which will involve quickly building strong relationships with customers over the telephone to pro-actively sell their wide range of products and services to both new and existing customers.

You will also process sales enquiries / orders and see all of your administration through to completion, ensuring excellent levels of customer service.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be organised and methodical in their approach and have the tenacity and strong organisational ability to be successful in this target driven role. No previous industry knowledge is necessary as full product training will be given, although experience in a similar office based sales role would be advantageous.

More important is your bright personality, keen willingness to learn, ability to work as a genuine team player whilst possessing excellent communication skills.
