This company is looking for an e-learning developer to join their small and friendly team in Sheffield. You must have experience in Quality Assurance and of content authoring using Articulate Storyline 2. If you have learning design experience as well, all the better.

The contract is full time for 9-12 months, and you will be based in their office in Heeley, Sheffield.

Main purpose of job

- QA and amends to e-learning resources, primarily using Articulate Storyline 2.

Main duties

- QA and amend e-learning resources to a brief supplied, using primarily Articulate Storyline 2.
- Raise any issues with the build to the Senior Producer.
- Deliver resources to agreed deadlines and raise any delivery issues to the Senior Producer.
- Make informed, independent decisions about content presentation.
- Propose improvements to the build or build processes if suitable.
- Work closely with the Producer team, designers, developers and learning designers to ensure a quality deliverable.
- Ensure that all deliverables are made to a high standard and quality assured before delivery.
- Fix any bugs or issues as required.

Additional responsibilities as and when required.

- Keeping within deadlines, quality targets and budgets.
- Quality of deliverables through testing, evaluation and client satisfaction.
- Communicating effectively with producer team and external resources as necessary.
- Flexibility to project demands.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Capability of dealing calmly in difficult situations.

Essential attributes and skills
- At least 1 year's commercial experience of Articulate Storyline 2.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- An understanding of e-learning.
- Ability to monitor and assess own performance.
- A team worker with a genuine concern for people.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Preferable attributes and skills
- Experience of learning design.
- Design software experience (eg Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Commercial experience of Adobe Captivate 9.
- Front-end technical development skills (HTML(5), CSS, JavaScript)
