Warehouse Assessor

Our client is looking for a Warehousing and Storage Assessor to join their team. Travel will be required to meet with learners at different Army bases between Hullavington, Swindon and Abingdon.

Any DGV / driving experience in addition to Warehousing and Storage / logistics experience would be very beneficial although not essential.

You must be a qualified and experienced Assessor holding an Assessing award e.g. TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D32 / D33.

You will be delivering Level 2 and Level 3 Apprenticeship training in Warehousing and Storage + DGV if occupationally competent. So you must have a background in Warehousing and Storage / Logistics. Any driving experience in addition would be beneficial.

You will not need to deliver Functional Skills in Maths and English as the company have dedicated Tutors that provide this support.

If you have any knowledge or prior ex-military experience within the Royal Logistic Corp (RLC) then this would be highly desirable although not essential.

You will be working with the Army supporting them with these qualifications so you will need to be organised, flexible and a good team player.

Job Summary

To take ownership of learners' progress through their learning programme to completion; ensuring that structured learning against QCF, Technical Certification, Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) and reviews are carried out in accordance with Company Standing Operating Procedures.

Key Accountabilities:

a. Carrying out all work based learning aspects of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) apprenticeship within area of occupational competence.

b. The booking of Functional Skills support in preparation of examinations.

c. Carrying out reviews in conjunction with assessment where possible:


Location: Learners are based between Hullavington, Swindon & Abingdon.

Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday. Usually between 8.00am - 5.00pm although some flexibility is required to meet with learners depending on their schedule

Holidays: 25 days holiday + 8 days bank holiday per annum

Salary:£25,267 per annum dependent on skills, qualifications and experience

Travel:Travel required to meet with learners at different Army bases between Hullavington, Swindon and Abingdon. Mileage is paid at 45p for the first 10,000 miles and then 25p per mile after that. Generous benefits package with plenty of CPD opportunities
