Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

About The Gas Engineer / Gas Repair and Service Engineer Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gas Engineer / Gas Repair and Service Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Supervisor, the role will require you to carry out gas installations, rectify breakdowns, day to day repairs, fault finding and annual servicing to domestic gas appliances.

This is a great opportunity to build our presence in this region with our new gas servicing and installation service.

Naturally, you will be technically competent and qualified. Recognised and respected by your peers as a 'senior' service engineer, you will have sustained high levels of productivity and performance and also have the capacity to lead others when required. Your contribution will sustain our reputation for innovative and excellent customer service, giving us a unique selling point in our sector.

Gas Engineer / Gas Repair and Service Engineer responsibilities Include:

  • Deliver a consistent, right first time service

  • Lead colleagues where appropriate in delivering solutions to complex problemsThe position includes a company van, fuel card, uniform and a tablet and training is provided to help you do the job to the best of your ability.

The ideal Gas Engineer / Gas Repair and Service Engineer will:

As a minimum you should have the following competencies:

  • You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Gas Engineer role & will have experience in servicing, breakdown and full installations including all making good. You should be a customer focused individual, experienced in working in occupied properties with a passion for completing a high quality repair on time and at the first visit.
  • CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, G3

Although not essential having the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Part P, TETRA, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, Manual Handling.
  • A commercial qualification would also be desirable but not essential.

Working Hours:

  • 40 hours per week. Flexible working between the hours of 8 am - 8pm. We are looking for the successful candidate to be happy working the 11am - 8pm shift as and when there is a requirement.
