Job Title: Production Team Member - Shift Basis
Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7:00am - 7:30pm. Sunday off. Monday , Tuesday, Wednesday Shift 7:00am - 7:30pm. Week on & week off basis.

Responsible to: Team Leader

1. Purpose of the Job

To produce high quality medical products in line with the customer specification to ensure output targets and on time delivery to our customers.

  • 2. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities (Key Tasks)

Carry out operations in line with the Product Specification Requirements and prescribed Method of Working in line with IS013485/EN46000.

  • Work within the Company Medical Hygiene Procedures and Rules.
  • Perform production operations to the level of required timings.
  • Work within the Company's Health & Safety Policy.
  • Work within a team and contribute towards continuous improvement programmes.
  • Undergo training to meet the Company's Flexibility Requirements.
  • Assist with on job training for new people.
  • Qualification required for Job (minimum requirement)

    Numerate/Literate/Dexterity & Co-ordination required

    NVQ Level 1

    • Experience Required to do the Job. (minimum requirement)

    6 months experience in the job (successful probationary period).

    • Responsibility for People (numbers involved & personnel)

    To carry out operations in line with the Product Specification Requirements and prescribed Method of Working.

  • Ensure that you are logged on to the IFS system.
  • Perform production operations to the level of quantities required per hour.
  • To work within a team and contribute towards continuous improvement programmes, such as Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing.
  • To undergo training to meet the Company's Flexibility Requirements

    • Contacts Inside and Outside the Company (routine or complex information and the degree of sensitivity involved).

    Analytical Requirements (type of analysis work/information involved with frequency, wither straightforward or complex information)
    To carry out operations in line with the Product Specification Requirements and prescribed Method of Working.

    • To work within the Company Medical Hygiene Procedures and Rules
    • Work to the quality systems, IS013485/EN46000.
    • To work within the Company's Health & Safety Policy.
    • To ensure paperwork is completed and signed off by your Team Leader/Co-ordinator.
    • To work within a team and contribute towards continuous improvement programmes, such as Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing.

    Manual Skills (type of operation involved with degree of co-ordination skill required. (Is operation, occasional, frequent or of a continuous nature).

    Physical Effort (type of physical effort, machinery/equipment involved with frequency of operation).

    Production Operations and Equipment Usage.

  • Monitoring Production: Visual Checking, Daily and Monthly Clean Downs.
  • Standing for long periods
  • Moving products and materials on work trollies.

  • Working Conditions (location of job and type of conditions/job environment with frequency of operations).
    Clean Work Area/Good Working Conditions.

    Protective Clothing in line with 'Medical Hygiene Rules.'
