We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer on behalf of our client, automotive company based in the Northampton.
Salary: £35K-£40K
Working hours: 3 tier shift pattern
Location: Northampton
Key purpose of the role
- Perform planned maintenace, diagnostics and fault finding on plastic injection moulding machines, related ancillaries, plant services equipment, facilities, robot paint and flocking lines, and bespoke PLC based assembly equipment
Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned PM tasks on all types of plant and production equipment
- Liaise directly with production/ planning to ensure availability of equipment to ensure "on time, in full" completion of PM
- Provide rapid response to mould tool failures to minimase production downtime
- Use external specialist resources to help solve machine issues in a timely manner
- Clear record keeping using CORIM system
- All repairs should be carried out inline PVL-N and UK health & safety regulations
Requirements:
- Strong Electrical/ Mechanical experience is essential
- Experience with ENGEL plastics injection moulding machines will be advantegous
- Willing to work on 3 tier shift pattern : 6am-2pm, 2pm- 10pm, 10pm-6am
