A pioneering and long standing SEN school in picturesque Surrey is looking for a passionate and friendly teaching assistant for a permanent position. This positon is based on working both 1:1 and on a whole school basis supporting mixed ability SEN learners including Autism, Down syndrome, SLD, PMLD and other complex needs. This school encompasses a Christian ethos and offers both an interactive and creative curriculum to children between the ages of 7 and 19years. The school currently educates 100+ pupils and is recognised as one of the most successful and oldest Specialist schools in the county.   • Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting KS1- KS5 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
  • Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
