A pioneering and long standing SEN school in picturesque Surrey is looking for a passionate and friendly teaching assistant for a permanent position. This positon is based on working both 1:1 and on a whole school basis supporting mixed ability SEN learners including Autism, Down syndrome, SLD, PMLD and other complex needs. This school encompasses a Christian ethos and offers both an interactive and creative curriculum to children between the ages of 7 and 19years. The school currently educates 100+ pupils and is recognised as one of the most successful and oldest Specialist schools in the county. The school boasts brilliant grounds (acres upon acres) that can be utilised for recreational activities and top of the range technology and resources which are available in every classroom and throughout the school.   • Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting KS1- KS5 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
  • Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
