A dynamic, fun and creative school in central Crawley is looking for a 1:1 teaching assistant to support a SEN learner in a Year 3 class. A Ofsted GOOD primary school in Crawley is looking for a 1:1 teaching assistant to support a SEN learner on a full time basis. The learner has mild autism and requires additional support in their learning journey; this child has no personal care needs. This position is guaranteed till the end of the academic year, permanent opportunities are available for the right candidate. The school is 3 form entry and currently support 280+ pupils. The school supports a religious ethos and embraces fully a creative curriculum that supports the child's educational, spiritual and personal needs. The school are commended by parents, pupils staff and OFSTED and have recently been graded GOOD with elements of outstanding

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting KS1- KS5 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
  • Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
