Horticulture Project Manager
We are a registered charity of over 30 years standing which provides support and care to people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism and physical disabilities in the local community.
We require a Horticulture Project Manager to lead our Sow & Grow/ Plants + Project which is based in Haslam Park in Preston.
The post holder will be required to develop the horticulture sites within Haslam Park, undertake external contracted work and provide the opportunity to take part in meaningful day activities to the people whom we support who have an interest in gardening and outdoor work.
Applicants must have experience of working in a horticultural environment; the ability to design & deliver a basic horticultural skills programme and be willing to work within Integrate’s service principles which promote independence, wellbeing and dignity.
The post carries some line management responsibility for staff on the project and in our small retail outlet, Plants + and supervisory experience would therefore be advantageous.
Disclosure & Barring Service clearance is mandatory for this role as is a full UK driving licence.
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Up to £20,000 per Annum
