Salary £15,434 per annum (£7.40 per hour) rising to £16,018 per annum (£7.68 per hour) after successful completion of probationary period

An exciting opportunity has been developed to work within Stanley Grange supporting people in their own homes or in a residential setting.
They are looking for motivated and dedicated people to provide support to people with learning disabilities, mental health, Autism and complex needs. You must be energetic, enthusiastic and confident to work on your own as well as working as part of a team.
The people supported are looking for qualities such as a sense of humour, patience and understanding with an ability to provide support to their individual needs and preferences, and supporting them to pursue their interests and explore the local community.
Applicants need to be willing to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, sleep ins and waking nights.
Experience is preferable but not essential as they provide a full induction and training programme.
Due to the rural location of Stanley Grange a car driver would be preferable.

(Please note that the salary scale is £15,434 - £16,018 per annum but they pay an additional premium of £1,043 per annum, pro-rata for working within their Stanley Grange service due to the individual they support presenting behaviour that may challenge).
If successful you must be able to complete a paid induction training course on commencement held on fixed dates (full days) within the first weeks of employment. Full details available for successful applicants when a start date is agreed.
