Based in Nottingham, you will market our exciting portfolio of Digital products to new local customers. You will be responsible for new business sales to sell online advertising solutions across your allocated territory across the East Midlands via arranged business meetings. As part of our close-knit, motivated team, you'll be responsible for developing new territories and increasing market share.

What you'll be doing

Working for Local World as part of the Trinity Mirror Group you will work across our iconic brands - The Nottingham Post.

From large organisations to small local businesses you'll become their online marketing expert as an extension of their business. With a consultative approach you will:

• contact potential new customers and secure new business from leads provided to increase the current client base
• design bespoke multi-media campaigns built around the customer needs, present the advertising solutions, brief your creative team and follow the process through
• ensure the most effective response for the customer through the use of response prediction tools and online analytics
• identify and develop persuasive campaigns to enable conversion of new and expired business
• ensure that the Customer Relationship Management system is continually and accurately updated with marketing data and account activity
• ensure that KPIs and targets are continually met

You

We're looking for a passionate and driven new sales professional who is able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the competitive environment in which the Trinity Mirror plc business operates. You'll have a digital, field or telesales background with a full driving licence. We'll give you full product training as well as ample scope to develop your career. You will be comfortable with sales targets and be goal orientated.

We have a dedicated Sales Academy training team who work closely with our sales people to help them shape their development. Whether you want to progress into more senior positions or become a guru of digital sales, Trinity Mirror has a rich variety of training and self-learning resources to help you get to where you want to be. Our training courses are accredited by the Byrne Partnership, who established the 'Media Sales Qualification' for publishers, in association with the Newspaper Society in 2001. We have a structured development programme for new starters joining our commercial teams which includes formal training, coaching and mentoring to really help you get off to a flying start.
