Do you hold a QTS with experience of teaching ASD/PMLD pupils within an SEN environment?

This excellent SEN School located in Torquay area are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to work on a supply and long term basis to start in November 2016, working specifically with young people who have complex needs, ASD, PMLD and SLD.

The school is a specialist status school who cater for young people aged between 6 -18 years old with various learning difficulties including complex needs, ASD, PMLD and SLD. Your role will involve teaching the lower ability and age groups, making this a very challenging role but truly rewarding for the right person with the right skill sets.

As part of the schools drive to promote teaching and learning, to challenge pupils and raise attainment they are specific on the individual they are wishing to attract. You will be a qualified teacher with a QTS, a calm temperament with a passion for special need and helping to develop young people with various learning difficulties. The young people within this school do range from moderate and severe, so an ability to work with challenging behaviours is desirable.
