Unique role raising funds for Conservative Party in Northern England

THE ROLE

A unique opportunity to join the Conservative Campaign Headquarters team in the role of Regional Fundraising Manager. Working as part of the Treasurers and Fundraising team, you will be responsible for leading fundraising activities across North and North East England. Working from a local Association Office or from home your responsibilities will include:

• broadening donor base and raising funds to help it win future elections
• using local knowledge and experience to increase donations
• recruiting new donors via face-to-face meetings
• liaising regularly with senior Party volunteers
• working closely with the Conservatives Treasurers team

THE PERSON

The ideal Regional Fundraising Manager will be ambitious, self-motivated and a hands-on team player with a strong work ethic and plenty of resilience. With a sound knowledge of current affairs and an interest in politics, you will be a self-starter; able to manage and motivate yourself. Ideally you will also have:

• a natural fundraising ability
• excellent communication and IT skills
• strong organisational and administrative skills
• the ability to research and analyse
• the ability to build new relationships with prospective new donors

You will also need to be flexible, as the working hours may at times be long and uncertain. It is essential that you are both a car driver and a car owner. Mileage will be fully reimbursed.
