This is a new opportunity to join a privately owned Global manufacturer. Due to growth in one of their subsidiaries who specialise within filter technologies, they now require a dedicated Financial Controller to manage this operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead in a growing entrepreneurial company working with the MD and operations team based in Slough.

This role

You will need to be a hands on senior financial professional who can take a lead on the following:

- Preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets and reforecast working closely with the MD and reporting results to head office
- Hands on entry of transactions into the system and control of all financial processes. Covering sales, purchase and general ledgers together with payroll, credit control and VAT and costing.
- System implementation and review of the current IFS system and improve process flow.
- Supporting the operations in Slough and the Stoke operation on all day to day financial matters as they arise.
- Working closely with the MD on new business propositions and input into commercial decisions.
- First point of contact on HR Issues

The Person

- You will be a qualified accountant, CIMA, ACCA or ACA, ideally with experience spent within service business, manufacturing etc.
- Ideally have a proven involvement of ERP systems, implementing system changes or upgrades, the current system is IFS
- Ideally comfortable with working in an SME with turnovers of 2 to 5 million
- Hands on approach and experience of managing a small team but able to operate at a senior level.
- This will suit a professional who want to lead and manage the financial operations of a growing SME enjoys being hands on but able to implement change and advance a business
