Job Title: Production Engineer

Location: Whiteparish, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP5

Salary: Competitive

Hours: 08.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

A new and exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of digital panel instruments, data loggers and custom design & manufacturing solutions has arisen.

Job Role:

The role will be based at the company's production facility on the edge of Salisbury (UK). This position plays a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality are achieved and maintained in the company's facilities in the UK, USA and Hong Kong. This role would suit a professional with an electronics manufacturing background wishing to take steps towards a management position.

The Candidate:

The successful applicant must have a keen eye for detail, be able to analyse problems and provide solutions and have experience with the manufacturing of electronic circuits and/ or mechanical engineering. An understanding of injection moulding would be advantageous. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Good communication skills and attention to detail essential.
• Good understanding of the Quality Design process for Electronic Devices.
• Knowledge of MRP systems advantageous
• Experience in managing Quality Systems and people.
• Knowledge of BS: EN ISO 9001 is advantageous but not essential.
• Applicants will be based locally and should possess their own transport.
