This single source global provider of payment solutions is recruiting for an experienced site-based Electro-mechanical Engineer, based in Colchester, Essex.
You will be solely responsible for proactive & reactive equipment repairs, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement, in compliance to the current models implemented, and to further develop these processes to enhance machine capability and reliance across a range of printing and packaging machinery at a high volume manufacturing site, supported by an experienced production team.
The site is well-established, manufacturing a range of products for a blue chip client base, as part of a international group. They pride themselves in a design-led approach, frequently innovating new concepts for their customer base, and are looking for someone with a passion for engineering that will play a key role in the production team.
Candidates will be expected to be flexible with working hours, including some overtime at weekends in busy periods, display initiative, teamwork, with technical knowledge of TPM and lean manufacturing principles. Candidates should also have an electrical bias, ideally with 17th edition electrical qualification, and be expected to provide evidence of practically applying this knowledge.
