Our client is Europe’s longest established and largest producer of paper and board laminates for the packaging of consumer goods.  With over 80 years of experience supplying to premium sectors such as fine spirits, tobacco, confectionary and beauty, they are committed to the highest standards of quality and technical excellence, innovation and supply chain efficiency.

They currently have 2 excellent opportunities; one for a process operator and one for a fork lift truck driver to join them at their manufacturing plant based in Poynton, Cheshire.   

These posts are for an initial 6-month temporary contract working a 2-shift pattern:

  • Initially - (6am - 2pm, 2pm – 10pm) during the training period
  • Moving to a 3-shift pattern (6am - 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am) once trained

In both roles, you will operate and support the production processes to achieve the highest level of quality and efficiency, whilst maintaining the highest standards of care and the application of safe working methods.

Our client is looking for people who have previous experience of working in a production environment, and who are looking for a new challenge.  With an education to GCSE standard or equivalent, you will have an excellent eye for detail and the ability to understand technical information.  A practical knowledge of process based manufacturing would be advantageous, as is experience of continuous improvement techniques, although this is not essential.  For the fork lift truck driver role, a counterbalance licence is essential.
