This is an opportunity to join a not-for-profit social enterprise based in Islington. They are looking for candidates to join their select team of skilled, professional staff, working to provide clients with personal care that is tailored to their individual needs, planned in partnership with the client and/or their family following an in-depth nursing assessment.

Compassion is at the heart of all that they do, and they aim to build a lasting relationship with their clients, based on empathy, respect and dignity - these are essential qualities they seek from their applicants.

This company strives for excellence in all that they do to ensure they can support their clients to remain as independent as possible, promoting wellbeing and providing assistance when needed with daily tasks, such as shopping and cleaning. They also provide care and support to people living with long-term illnesses and those with complex health needs, including HIV/AIDs, dementia and those approaching end-of-life. Every client/family is allocated a Named Nurse who will assess, plan and evaluate their care. As a Health Support Personal Assistant (HSPA) you would be allocated to a neighbourhood team, under the supervision of a Named Nurse. Currently they have neighbourhood teams in N19 and N1, as well as an NHS funded contract in Kensington & Chelsea. They particularly welcome applications from those living in these areas.

They have the mantra "nothing about you, without you" and they recruit staff who demonstrate care, compassion, competency, communication, courage and commitment - their 6Cs. They exact the very best from their team, have high standards and expectations, and will only recruit staff able to live up to these standards. In return they offer:

- Competitive rates of pay, as a registered London Living Wage employer, with an enhanced hourly rate for weekends and public holidays.
- Flexible working - their HSPAs are appointed on flexi-worker contracts, so you can provide your availability and fit work around other needs, such as study or family commitments. We do require a minimum monthly attendance for training and development.
- Access to a host of additional benefits, including 24/7 Employee Assist Programme, Medicash health benefit and company pension scheme.
- They offer full training, with a five day paid induction (from 5th - 9th December 10:00 - 16:00 - please ensure you are available to attend this week of induction before applying) and support with ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Interested? Applicants will be directed to their website to complete an online application form, and should note that if successful will be invited to attend a Recruitment & Selection Day on Tuesday 22nd November from 10:00 - 18:00, in Islington - you need to ensure you are available to attend this day before applying.
