Production QC Inspector

One of the leading and fastest growing horticultural companies in the UK is currently looking for competent Production Line Team Leaders. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most progressive fast moving consumer goods companies in the UK.

They are now recruiting for a QC Inspector at their site in Alconbury

To ensure all products supplied from their operation conforms to legal, quality & safety requirements to protect their employees, customers & brand name - inspecting product straight from the production lines and challenging their production staff to deliver quality products on time every time.

- Co-ordinate and carry out daily QA checks on site in accordance with requirements of the Quality Management System
- Identify and action non conformances & the implementation of recommended corrective actions and report to site Quality Manager
- Oversee Good Manufacturing Practices by performing regular inspections and follow up accordingly.
- Ensure documentation completion and record any instances of non-conformity
- Identify and report opportunities for continuous improvement
- Verification of adherence to Weights and Measures legislation
- Quality inspections and sampling of finished product.
- Liaise with production supervisors & operators on all items relating to product quality.
- Monitor production line set up and ensure adherence & compliance to documented work instructions.
- Some Data entry

You must:
- Possess an excellent eye for detail
- An excellent communicator, both verbally and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general IT skills
- Must be flexible and prepared to work to tight deadlines
