This role is a 6 month fixed term contract, expected to end April 2017.

For over 25 years, this company has helped over 500,000 SMEs in the UK to thrive through collaboration with private sector and government to provide outsourced expert advisory services to their SME clients. Working in a fast paced environment, you will be working closely with SMEs, innovation advisers and international trade and information advisers and other members of the EEN team and supporting the delivery of the EEN COSME and H2020 contracts, providing efficient and accurate project and administrative support.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Act as the first point of contact for SMEs and advisers for EEN project related enquiries, carrying out initial assessment and referring to EEN adviser or other support as appropriate;
- Handle CRM data entry for new clients, events booking registrations, and quality management of existing data;
- Provide event organisation support (e.g. production of delegate sign in sheets, feedback forms, delegate packs etc.) and ensure smooth running of events on the day;
- Support advisers in the follow up of partnering activities;
- Process new website registrations;
- Monitor the participation of regional clients in EEN brokerage events to identify clients from the East of England and carry out initial contact with them to introduce them to EEN support or reconnect them to their regional adviser;
- Maintain and monitor the team's records of progress towards contractual outputs and help to produce monthly report and management information;
- Support advisers in the completion of client questionnaires (including SME feedback activities and achievement impact assessment);
- Organise the programme of internal team meetings, compiling agenda items, booking rooms, preparing meeting notes and action points;
- Support administrative activities (timesheets, overseas travel arrangements, etc.)
- Carry out other duties identified by members of the EEN management team.

Qualifications Required:
Likely educated to A level or equivalent with experience in a similar role. Driving licence and car owner/access desirable.

Knowledge Experience Required:
- Experience of working in a customer-facing role, preferably with SMEs;
- Experience of project working;
- Experience of working within a service or business support organisation;
- Knowledge of the business support landscape;
- Experience of general monitoring and project management systems;
- Experience of working with databases and maintaining accurate customer information on CRM systems.

You will be a team player with good interpersonal skills and ability to engage with people at all levels both inside and outside the organisation. You will be well organised and self-motivated with a can-do attitude and ability to prioritise short and long term activities.

Salary up to £22,533 per annum pro rata dependent on experience;10.5% non-contributory pension; 26 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays pro rata.
