FINTEC recruit is seeking a Solutions Architect for a contract position based in Edinburgh.
Day rate approx. £280.00.
You will be responsible for the high level design of one or more functional features in line with the established engineering patterns. The system is a layered web application built using JBoss Portal, JSF and RichFaces for the presentation / application layer, Apache CXF for invocation of services layer which is deployed within JBoss Fuse . The system uses JPA and Oracle for persistence and uses JBoss BRMS for rules and BPM processing.
The ideal candidate for the Solutions Architect will have:
- Strong Java development / design background with a minimum of 3 years experience in leading and documenting design
- Strong communication skills
- OO Design and UML expertise in class diagrams, use case diagrams, sequence diagrams,
- Logical Data Modelling
- Service specification within a SOA.
- Experience in Object Relational Mappers and in Java Domain Modelling
- Ability to coach application designers and technical leads, communicating design and supporting low level design performed by development team.
- Experience of iterative development methodologies.
