Machine Operator / Production Operator

Machine Operator, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

We are recruiting for a Machine Operator to join our leading food manufacturing client's team based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

The Role:

• Your main task is to operate machines to produce products in an efficient and timely manner and to the highest possible quality standards (doing quality checks by your own).
• According to your abilities and technical skills, you will also:
  • Be responsible for trouble-shooting / responding to alarms / maximising machine utilisation & overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Integrate preventative actions and /or machine assessments during a manufacturing stage on the assigned production line.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Production experience OR have electrical and/or mechanical experience OR both.
• Able to be flexible on the working hours.
• Above and beyond the required skills the individual for this role must have exceptional interpersonal skills, attitude, and ability to communicate clearly and to support others in the company at all time is essential.
• If you have previous Food industry experience will be an added advantage.

Working Hours: 12 hours, Day and night shift, rotating basis.

Salary: In return, start salary per hour will be from £8.24 per hour plus benefits for the right candidate; added to this salary is increased holiday entitlement and contributory pension. If during your course of employment you develop additional skill(s) identified by the Company and practice/ implement, then you may be eligible for Supplementary Allowance.
