Purpose of the role

To deliver a first-class installation/project service to all of company’s customers, thereby ensuring that own work is carried out to the highest standard in the most time and cost efficient way. Primarily working on multiple Cloud implementation projects from arrival project right through to ‘Go live’

Key Responsibility Areas:

- Scale abilities to operate in a multi-client multi-project environment
- Implement projects in a timely and professional manner under the guidance of the assigned Project Manager, Project Coordinator or Installations Manager.
- Converse with customers via phone or on-site meeting to scope technical elements of project
- Review and manage technical scope of work
- If required, Pre-stage and test offered solution prior to installation
- Pilot, install and commission solutions on customer premises
- Demonstrate consistent administration tasks such as system notes/updates (Protean)
- Provide flexibility to work outside office hours to meet the needs of the project implementation and technical support teams
- Work in teams or alone on-site using a methodical process to complete the project to the highest standard in the most time and cost efficient way
- Demonstrate initiative when presented with issues
- Maintain and develop technical knowledge in line with Product development

Success Measurements

- Projects are successfully managed, delivered on time, within budget and to the customers’ satisfaction in accordance with team’s processes.
- Responsibility for each project is demonstrated through effective leadership techniques.
- Effective working relationships with clients, Project Managers, Account Managers and all other relevant staff are built and maintained.
- Lessons Learned from projects are recorded and transferred to the business through the appropriate channels
- A ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to work hard to achieve company goals are demonstrated.
- Show positive contributions and be an active member of the Projects team whose views are respected and whose direction is followed.
- Timely, correct decisions based on facts are made.
- Customers, senior management, engineers, contractors (third party suppliers) and other project stakeholders are dealt with effectively, ensuring that the best is secured from of them on all projects.
- Failure is effectively dealt with; demonstrating an ability to learn from mistakes.
- Integrity is demonstrated.
- Additional sales opportunities relating to a project are identified and progressed.
- Repeat business to the company from satisfied customers is delivered.

Day to Day

- Managing all aspects of Cloud production implementation
- Configuring bespoke taxi management package
- Liasing with 3rd parties for telephony, gprs, sip and telecoms
- General training on bespoke taxi management package
- Logging all tasks on database
- Updating reporting spreadsheets
- Remotely updating cloud servers
- Managing job queues
- Arranging training sessions
- Assigning tasks to other team members

Relevant Experience, Knowledge & Training required to perform the role

- Demonstrable Support & Project based working ethics
- Computer literacy skills (working knowledge of MS Office)
- IT industry background
- Remote access tools
- Wider networking skills, Routing and Switching knowledge
- Other Vendor experience – Bespoke software, hardware etc.
